The workshop this year will be a stunning rendition of a winter scene called “Through the Woods.” Beautiful in-depth embroidery designs done in the classic “redwork” style. Over a two day period, Claudia teaches you machine embroidery techniques that you have not seen before.: “Virtual Positioning,” Stitch Sequence Control,” “Rotating for Precision Placement,” and a Bonus technique for perfectly straight ¼” borders. You will receive a COMPLETE kit in your choice of two color ways, two days of instruction, two breakfasts and two lunches, and all embroidery designs. You can pay in six payments of $86.67 which includes everything but your room. Payments will be taken by credit card on the 8th of each month.

Sadie’s Dream for a Cure: Every year, thousands of families receive the devastating new that their child has cancer. The emotional and financial toll is overwhelming. Not only must families confront a new reality which includes words like “chemotherapy,” “transfusions,” and “surgical procedures,” but they must often deal with time away from work and family. Our goal is simple. To make their lives a little easier, by providing support in a time of crisis, and to let these families know that they are not in this alone. But we can’t do it without your help. Please join us in helping these little warriors.
You can help children with cancer. Sadie’s Dream for a Cure makes fabric tote bags for children with cancer, and then the organization fills each bag with games, toys, treats, and toiletries. Join us a Threads of Time when we will band together to make as many bags as we can possibly make in one day. Sadie’s Dream for a Cure will donate kits for the bags, and once you have the pattern, we hope you will make more bags on your own. This day will be a great event for a very worthy cause. We’ll do a potluck lunch, so bring something to share with other volunteers. Let’s pack the house and help kids with cancer. No charge, but call us to let us know you’re coming so we have enough bags ready for you to sew.
